Jian will be a featured panelist as part of the “CBC Music – The Future of Public Broadcasting and music in Canada” session @ the 2012 Canadian Music Week Conference.
This event will take place Thursday March 22nd @ 10:30 AM @ The Fairmont Royal York Hotel (Ballroom).
The panel will include a presentation by Chris Boyce, the Exec Director, Radio and Audio (CBC Music), and a performance by Joel Plaskett.

Jian will be a guest on Quebec’s wildly popular talk show, Tout le monde en parle, hosted by Guy A. Lepage, on March 4th.
The episode will air this Sunday at 8pm on Radio-Canada, coast to coast. The show will feature several guests, including Justin Trudeau, Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau, Alexandre Despatie and Claude Legault.

Q Live in London!

Q promised they’d be coming to London, ON and now the details on the upcoming show have emerged!
Thursday March 8th, Q will broadcast live from the historic, The Grand Theatre.
Guests will include Great Lake Swimmers, with brand new material from their upcoming release, New Wild Everywhere. Plus, Lara St John, the renowned classical violinist (and London native!). The show will also feature an amazing cast of local artists and heroes.

Please join us for a live taping of Canada’s favourite literary battle – Canada Reads: True Stories (hosted by Jian!). For the first time ever, Canada Reads is all about non-fiction.
