Producer and Manager
Jian currently manages the Juno Award-winning, indie synth-pop-rock artist, Lights, through his own production company, Jian Ghomeshi Productions Inc.
He has been working with the Toronto-based 24-year-old since 2001.

Jian has also emerged as an acclaimed young producer of artists including Dar Williams and Martina Sorbara. Martina Sorbara’s album ‘The Cure For Bad Deeds’ (produced by Jian) was released on April 9th, 2002 across Canada and on August 27, 2002 in the USA.
Moxy Früvous
Jian first came to attention in Canada and the United States as a singer, instrumentalist and songwriter in the multi-platinum selling folk-rock group, Moxy Früvous. With the group, he has toured internationally and written top-40 songs such as “Stuck in the 90s,” “Sad Girl,” and “I Will Hold on.” He has shared stages with a variety of artists including Bob Dylan, Bryan Adams, The Tragically Hip, Van Morrison, Ani Difranco and Elvis Costello.
